  • Care procedures:

Beyond the warranty obligations, you can easily preserve for many more years the paint film and then keep it in good condition by taking simple precautions as follows:

CLEANING - The first important step for a proper maintenance is to clean the product put outside. Acid rains and air pollution
could bring to a shorter life of the paint. Therefore it is necessary, at least once every six months, to clean the coating using
only mild detergents and avoiding harsh detergents such as those containing alcohol or ammonia. Use a soft cloth (nonabrasive)
without applying pressure. It could happen that some colour residues remain on the cloth (it could be possible in case of lacquering with strong colors), but this is not an indication of a faulty paint.

TOUCH-UP - If the paint film seems to be, for any external cause, interrupted in its continuity (knocks, scratches, etc.), you must immediately restore on the affected area the protective coating, which had been removed. It takes to avoid that the water
could cause damages to the underlying wood (growth of molds etc.) by getting into the break of the coating film, with consequent detaching of the film. It has to work by means of a paint-brush, water varnish or coloured paint. Make sure that after the touch-up there are no other unsheltered areas.
